Who We Are
Founded in 1976
Midor is a well-established company that was founded in 1976 by Milt and Dorothy Wiesner. The company began as a brokerage firm for milk commodities used in the feed industry, and quickly established itself as a trusted provider of high-quality products for the industry. In the early years, a significant part of Midor's customer base were veal growers, which led to the company becoming a manufacturer of milk replacers for the veal industry.
Expansion of Midor Ltd.
In 2001, Judy Green and Deb Parrish, who had worked for Milt and Dorothy for 19 years, had the opportunity to purchase Midor Ltd. They maintained their existing relationships and carried on with their regular business practices. However, after a few years, they identified a new market opportunity for Midor Ltd. Leveraging their excellent reputation in the feed industry, they began providing toll blending services to both new and existing customers. Meanwhile, they continued to blend various dairy products for the pet food and milk replacer industries. Judy and Deb remained the owners of Midor Ltd. until May 2022, when Lee and Deb Scoville acquired the company.
Today
In 1993, the veal milk replacer and liquid veal feed business was sold to Alto Dairy Cooperative, allowing Midor to pivot and focus on expanding other areas of its business. Since early 2022, the company has been owned by Lee and Deb Scoville, and under their leadership, Midor has grown significantly. Today, the company operates a state-of-the-art blending facility, with two advanced bagging lines, ample warehouse space, bulk loading capacity, and an in-house laboratory.
Above and Beyond
Midor's products are shipped from coast to coast, and its exports are growing each year. The company serves some of the largest feed and pet food manufacturers in the world, supplying ingredients and blends that are used in the production of food for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, pigs, cattle, fish, horses, sheep, and calves.
